Alfaaz Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name], trading as Alfaaz ("Alfaaz", "we", "us"), for using Alfaaz. By using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Alfaaz.
1. Who can use Alfaaz
You must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country, and able to accept these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
2. Your account
Signing in is optional. If you sign in, keep your account secure and tell us about any misuse. One person, one account: do not create accounts to get more free allowances.
3. Your content
You keep all rights in what you write, record and make ("your content"). You give us a limited permission to process it only as needed to run the features you use, such as reading a picture, translating, or captioning a recitation, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your reels and do not publish them.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to the words, voices, images and music in it. See the content and poetry disclaimer.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Alfaaz to make or share content that:
- infringes someone's copyright, including another poet's work you have no right to use;
- is hateful, harassing, threatening or violent, or targets people for their religion, caste, ethnicity, gender or other identity;
- is sexual content involving minors, or any non-consensual intimate content;
- impersonates a real person, or presents AI output as someone's real words to deceive;
- is illegal where you live.
Do not reverse engineer, overload or misuse the service, or try to get around allowances and paid features.
5. AI features
Picture reading, translation and captions are produced by AI and can be inaccurate, incomplete or miss a poem's meaning. Check them before you publish. AI output is offered for your creative use; you are responsible for how you use it. You can report offensive or harmful AI output from the app or to support@getalfaaz.app; we review reports and use them to improve our filters. Free use includes a limited allowance; Alfaaz Creators include more. We may change allowances, and we may pause AI features to protect the service.
6. Alfaaz Creators subscription
- Creators is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play or the App Store. The price and period are shown before you buy.
- It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in your Google Play or Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's or Apple's refund policies. Where the law gives you a right to cancel, you keep it.
- Free reels carry the Alfaaz mark and end card. Creators reels do not. We may add, change or remove Creators features, and will tell you of material changes.
7. Music, templates and the app
The app, its templates, designs and built-in music belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to make reels with Alfaaz and share those reels anywhere, including for commercial purposes, but not use the music or templates on their own or in other products. Built-in music uses the MuseScore General SoundFont (MIT licence) and other licensed components listed in the app.
8. Classic poetry
Alfaaz includes a library of classic poetry. We include works we believe to be in the public domain where you live, with the poet named. Translations and Roman spellings in the library are our own. See the disclaimer.
9. Copyright and takedowns
We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement as described in our Copyright and DMCA policy, including counter-notices, and we end the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
10. Ending
You can stop using Alfaaz and delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, with notice where reasonable.
11. Disclaimers
Alfaaz is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. Keep copies of content that matters to you; it is stored on your device.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Apple App Store
If you got Alfaaz from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance and is not responsible for claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where these terms do not cover something.
14. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above will change and important changes will be shown in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of [country/state], without limiting the consumer protections of the country you live in.
