Child Safety Standards
Effective 23 October 2026
Alfaaz has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses Alfaaz and to everything made with it or sent through it.
1. What Alfaaz is
Alfaaz is a tool for turning poetry and quotes into video reels. It has no public feed, profiles, chat or messaging between users, and reels are not published inside the app: you save them to your phone and share them yourself. Alfaaz does not host or store user content: poems, recordings and reels stay on your device, and a picture sent for text reading is processed only to return its words, never stored and never shown to anyone else. Alfaaz is not intended for children under 13.
2. What is prohibited
- Creating, storing, sharing or requesting any content that sexualises minors, including CSAM, drawn, animated or AI-generated depictions.
- Grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to contact, exploit or endanger a child.
- Using Alfaaz's AI features (picture reading, translation, captions) to process such content.
3. How to report
- In the app: Settings, then Contact support. AI translations can also be reported with the Report button beside them.
- By email: safety@getalfaaz.app. Please include what you saw and when; do not attach or forward illegal images.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
4. What we do
- We review every report promptly, and child safety reports first.
- We remove access for accounts and devices involved, and preserve information as the law requires.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant national authorities, including in India through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), and cooperate with law enforcement.
- Our AI providers apply their own safety filters and refuse such content.
5. Compliance
Alfaaz complies with applicable child safety laws, including India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 and Information Technology Act 2000, the United States' 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and the laws of the countries where Alfaaz is available.
