What is Alfaaz?
Alfaaz is an Android app that turns shayari, ghazals, nazms, kavita and quotes into video reels. You can recite your words on camera with a teleprompter and AI captions that follow your voice, or pick an animated style where the words appear in time with the music or your recorded voice.
Is Alfaaz free?
Yes. Alfaaz is free to download and you can make as many reels as you like. Free reels carry the Alfaaz mark. Free use also includes 5 picture reads, 5 AI translations and 2 minutes of AI captions a month. Alfaaz Creators removes the mark and adds more AI use.
Which languages does Alfaaz support?
Urdu (Nastaliq script), Hindi (Devanagari), Roman Urdu or Hinglish, and English. You can show a translation under the original, and the teleprompter shows each line in its own script and in Roman letters.
How do AI captions for a recitation work?
After you record, you watch your take and confirm it. Alfaaz then sends only the sound of the recitation and the poem's words to its captioning service, which times every word to your voice. The video stays on your phone. Captions can appear over the video or as subtitles, on artistic caption boxes.
Can I use Ghalib's or other classic poets' shayari?
Classic poets such as Mirza Ghalib, Mir Taqi Mir, Allama Iqbal and Kabir are in the public domain in most countries, and Alfaaz includes a library of their work with the poet named. Most modern poets' work is protected by copyright, so share it only if you have the right to. See the disclaimer.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. Your poems, recordings and reels stay on your phone. AI features send only what is needed for that request, after asking your permission, and the services Alfaaz uses do not train on it. See how Alfaaz uses AI.
How do I cancel Alfaaz Creators?
Open Google Play, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Alfaaz and cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
